Zion National Park-Orderville Canyon

Orderville Canyon in Zion National Park is a perfect example of the slot canyons which are found in the Colorado Plateau. Like caves, these slot canyons convey a sense of being hidden away in a different world.

Orderville Canyon is a side canyon which connects to Zion Narrows, and climbing from the top down requires some technical gear, but the lower portion is accessible on foot from The Narrows. The canyon walls at this point are about 8-10 ft. (3 meters) across. - Martin van Hemert
