Teapot Lake

The numerous lakes in the high Uinta Mountains east of Park City create a magical window into the night sky.
The southern portion of the Milky Way is seen in the opening view of this panorama; follow it up and over to the north, and then look carefully between the trees for a somewhat horizontal blob. This is the Andromeda Gallaxy.

Teapot lake lies above the 9,000 ft (2700m) elevation level. Waters from this lake flow into the Provo River, on their way to Utah Lake. - Martin van Hemert
