Red Cliffs

The Red Cliffs Recreation Area is part of the much larger Rec Cliffs Conservation Area, located near St.George, Utah. It's an excellent example of the great recreational areas Utah is famous for.

Sandstone formations such as those in this panorama can be found in many areas all over the earth. The area of Southern Utah and surrounding states is unique in that it is an exceptionally large area of exposed sandstone. - Martin van Hemert
